Good Morning, Abe!

I took this picture a little more than two years ago (June 14, 2006 to be exact). At the time, I was obsessed with photographing the monuments before the sun came up just because I knew no one would be there except for a few runners and monument security. Perhaps I will take on this project again...but its too damn cold. Shout out to Nick Chavez for driving me down at 5am back when I didn't have a ride.
