On to the Quarter Finals

The WCAC basketball playoffs commenced in a long day of shooting at Gallaudet University here in Washington DC. Eight teams, four games, four winners moving on to the semi-finals at American University (my alma mater). All of the favorites moved on save one...O'Connell, who lost to Paul VI. The Knights in blue and white boast UNC signee Kendall Marshall and three-point specialist Dave Eismeier but just couldn't get it done that day. Shout out to that 16oz cup of pink lemonade that I inhaled during the second quarter of the final game. It sure hit the spot.
